This extension is largely self- built by our client who is also the contractor by trade, hence buildability, simplicity and speed of construction were key requirements.

ODACE designed an efficient frame with minimal use of high-embodied carbon material and prioritised the use of natural and sustainable materials. The walls are of hemcrete construction which helps to regulate the humidity and temperature within the building. The result is a well-insulated and healthy house of generous proportions for our client's growing family.
