This ‘cut and carve’ project involved the removal of substantial loadbearing masonry walls at ground and basement levels to create an interlinked set of gallery spaces for art exhibitions. All works were undertaken while the upper floor levels remain occupied. ODACE worked with the contractor and design team to engineer a safe sequence of demolition and construction.
